The Carolina Cup Symposium is our premier annual CME program held in conjunction with the Department of Family Medicine and geared for the primary care physician. Begun in 1979 as the Carolina Cup Pediatric Symposium, "The Cup" is now in its 29^th year. Utilizing national and local speakers, the symposium consists of a day and a half of clinical updates for the practicing physician and culminates with a trip to the world famous Carolina Cup Steeplechase in nearby Camden, SC, where participants enjoy a day of picnicking and horseracing.
