The Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases provides inpatient and
outpatient consultations and is actively involved in medical student and
resident education. The Division runs the only comprehensive HIV/AIDS
program for children in the 17 county referral area. In addition, the Division
provides pediatric infectious disease expertise and advice to the South
Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Services.
